São Tomé & Príncipe Visa & Entry Requirements
All foreign passengers travelling to São Tomé & Príncipe must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Guests whose passports expire within six months of arrival in São Tomé & Príncipe will be denied boarding on embarkation day.
Visa Exempt Nationalities
Passport holders from the following countries do not require a visa to go ashore in São Tomé & Príncipe ports.

Visa on Arrival
Guests travelling on passports not listed above will require a Visa on Arrival to enter São Tomé & Príncipe.
- The visa fee is USD $50 per person.
- The ship will arrange the visa on your behalf.
- The visa fee will be charged directly to your onboard account.
Additional Visa Exemptions
Guests holding either of the following may also be exempt from obtaining a São Tomé visa:
- A valid B1/B2 United States visa
- A valid Schengen visa
Yellow Fever Requirements
All guests aged over 1 year old, regardless of nationality, must carry either:
- A valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, or
- An approved medical waiver in place of the vaccination certificate.
Guests who arrive without a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate or acceptable medical waiver will be detained on board and may not be permitted to go ashore in São Tomé & Príncipe.
Important Yellow Fever Notice
Depending on your cruise itinerary, additional countries visited during the voyage may also require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination or a valid medical waiver.
Where Yellow Fever requirements apply for the overall cruise itinerary:
- Guests must provide either a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate or an approved medical waiver.
- Guests who are unable to provide either document may be denied boarding at the start of the cruise.
